    Exploding cell phone batteries[reasons]...

Day by day we are hearing about bursting of cell phones while charging...

Basically its due to the overheating of lithium ion batteries...

Whenever you charge a battery the flow of electrons in and out of batteries are rapid and hence it causes a heating effect...

The design of battery should be made in such a way to avoid over heating...

Mostly the unbranded batteries lack proper designing and hence are vulnerable to the hazard...

Steps to avoid bursting of mobile batteries...

    1) Do not use unbranded batteries...

    2) Do not use batteries in counterfit...

    3) Do not use your mobile while it is charging...

    4) Do not allow your battery to dry out of power... You should maintain atleast 4 to 10 percent...

    5) Do not plug and unplug it often while charging...

P.S:- I think most of you might be already aware of these, but i think someone unaware of it might get the benefit by this...
